20th November - New Demo!!!
Yesterday we finished
mixing our new demo at Albany Studios with Lawson Dando. We've recorded three
brand new songs and they're all up on the music page to listen to or download.
We took a lot more time over this demo in writing and recording and hopefully
the finished demo reflects that. Please head over to the music page and leave
any feedback you have on our forum: http://s13.invisionfree.com/Be_Like_Dad
You can also now pay
us a visit on My Space and Pure Volume:

15th September
Long time no
update... After a largely inactive summer we're back and things should start
happening again soon. Since the last news update we've played a couple of
gigs namely Clwb Ifor Bach and Davestock II. Both were successful especially
Davestock where we raised around £460 for the Lesotho fund. We played
for about half hour with our set including a couple of new songs, a cover
of The Killers' 'All These Things That I've Done' and we also gave 'Gone'
a reluctant outing. Source 5 also played their last gig as a 5-piece at Davestock
and we wish them all the best with their new 3-piece lineup.
At the moment we're looking at getting some new material finished
and we're considering our options for a new demo. We're also hoping a couple
of gigs should get organised in the near future. We'll keep you posted...
25th February - Last Night
Last night we
played our first gig in a while at the Toucan Club in Cardiff. It was a really
great night and I think we all feel that it was one of if not the best gig
we've played to date. Khagool and The Kabuki Mono both put on superb shows
and are both well worth checking out. Thanks to everyone that came and supported
us and we hope you had as much fun as we did. We're trying to confirm a couple
of gigs for the next couple of months so this section will be updated when
we have more news on that.
2nd January - Happy New Year
A huge thank you to everyone
that made it to our recent gig with Source 5 and The Scruts! We played a 7-song
set including new song 'Fragile'. Look out for upcoming gigs as we hope more
will be added in the near future. Happy new year!
